| This beautiful mandau was obtained from Jimmy Teo, of the trusted Teo family of tribal art dealers in Kuching in 2005. The handle is intricately carved from Sambar deer horn. The blade is hand forged iron and inlaid with brass. It is from the early 20th century, made by the Aoheng people of the Mahakam river, Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo. |
